Working with Frequency Lists

A frequency list (sometimes called a compatible frequency list, or CFL) is a list of available primary and backup frequencies calculated in Wireless Workbench or a Spectrum Manager.

Deploying a frequency list allows you to have coordinated backup frequencies ready in the event of interference, which is a more reliable alternative to choosing an arbitrary frequency. When coordinating, you can adjust the frequency calculator to include or avoid specific TV channels, frequency ranges, or RF signals above a specified threshold.
